The idea for RxLive® was born out of a recognition that today’s retail pharmacy model underserves both patients and providers. Patients aren’t getting the time and attention they need because, in today’s model, pharmacists must focus on dispensing, not counseling. And, providers are unable to tap into the broad clinical talent of the pharmacists to help manage the health of their patients efficiently and effectively.
For most pharmacists, the meaningful patient interaction that fuels their passion is missing. By disconnecting the business model of pharmacy from the dispensing event and identifying consumers who need and value the expert advice they can get from a clinical pharmacist, RxLive is redefining what the practice of pharmacy looks like and changing the paradigm of healthcare.
